Dr. Michele Burgess’s journey into dermatology began with her own struggle with acne during her teenage and young adult years. She knows firsthand the frustration of ineffective over-the-counter treatments and misleading cosmetic advice. This personal experience fueled her passion for finding real, science-based, personalized solutions for skin problems.

As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Burgess now helps patients of all ages understand and address their skin, hair, and nail concerns. She offers a wide range of treatments, from acne management and rash treatment to skin cancer screenings and cosmetic procedures, all tailored to each individual’s needs.

Originally from Canada, Dr. Burgess moved to New York, where she has family roots, by way of the Midwest. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University and completed her residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.

Before settling in New York, Dr. Burgess ran her own private practice for over five years. She built this practice with the goal of creating a warm, welcoming environment where patients receive the best possible care with a personal touch. She brings extensive experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to meet the personal needs of her patients.
