Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during infusion therapy?

During Infusion therapy, a small needle is inserted into a vein, usually in the arm. In the drip form, the infusion is delivered slowly, allowing you to relax during the treatment. The injection form is quicker, providing a rapid boost of nutrients. The process is supervised by medical professionals.

What is infusion therapy?

Infusion therapy is an intravenous method used to deliver hydration, vitamins, and nutrients directly into the bloodstream. This therapy bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, ensuring immediate and effective absorption. It comes in two forms: the drip form, where IV fluids are administered slowly over a period, and the injection form, which offers a quicker boost of nutrients.

What is the follow-up and recovery like for infusion therapy?

Recovery from infusion therapy is typically straightforward with no downtime – you may return to your daily activities immediately. Follow-up depends on your specific treatment plan and goals. Some may benefit from repeated sessions for optimal results.

Why is infusion therapy performed?

Infusion therapy is performed to rapidly deliver hydration, vitamins, and nutrients directly to the body. It’s beneficial for those needing immediate relief from dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, or for overall wellness enhancement. This therapy is faster and more effective than oral supplements, as it bypasses the GI tract.

How do I prepare for infusion therapy?

To prepare for therapy, it’s recommended to be well-hydrated and have eaten a light meal. You should discuss your medical history, allergies, and any medications with the healthcare provider. Comfortable clothing is advisable for easy access to your arm for the infusion.

What are the potential risks of infusion therapy?

While Infusion therapy is generally safe, potential risks include discomfort at the injection site or bruising.

What are the potential costs of infusion therapy?

The cost of Infusion therapy varies based on the type of infusion and the location of the clinic. Typically, prices range for different types of infusions, with additional costs for supplementary boosts. It’s important to check with the provider for specific pricing.
